Jubilee Allstars Podcast
May 6th, 2009 by Conor McCabe
We’ve been running our Great Irish Bands posts for about two years now, and today marks an expansion in the series. Below is a documentary/podcast on the Jubilee Allstars, one of the best bands of the 1990s. It’s based around a set of interviews held with three of the former members - Barry McCormack, Niall McCormack, and Lee Casey - and these are interspersed with songs from the Jubilee’s three albums and various E.P.s and singles. The documentary is one hour long, and the file is 55.6MB. You can download it by right-clicking on the player and selecting “save target as” or “save link as”.
Further information on the band can be found here, while those interested in obtaining any (or all) of the band’s records and cds can go here.
Barry McCormack has released a couple of solo albums. His MySpace page is here.
Enjoy.

This is great, thanks. Lights of the City is a gem.
I miss them so much. I remember I went for an interview with Tower at the turn of the century and Fergus interviewed. I think it freaked him out a bit when I was so obsessed with the band (the music not the actual band). I’m here in the States and all I have with me is Sunday Miscellany.
Best Irish band ever.
