Planned regulation of Reits in Britain leads to an opening of the scheme in Ireland
Jan 2nd, 2013 by Conor McCabe
The image is of an article n the FT on plans to regulate the marketing of real estate investment trusts to retail - or private - investors in Britain. These plans were met with an opening of the market for these risky schemes here in Ireland. The Irish Independent article linked here is written by a stockbroker in Goodbody - a firm that had to be covered by the 2008 bank guarantee because of what it was up to prior to the crash - and gives the impression that international investors will bring money to Ireland once they hear of this scheme. Because, you know, international investors read the Irish Independent.
The article is all about pushing these schemes on private individuals. And how do you signup? Well, through a stockbroker firms of course.
The article made me sick. Sorry for pushing it on people. But this is what I mean by the information is in front of us. The way power and money operates in Ireland is not hidden. The names of the players may not be known to us, but the mechanism is there to see.
no flouride. No bilderbergs. Just gombeens making a buck. As they always have.
The Irish Independent article is here.

I really don’t think they can conceptualize what a real physical productive internal economy looks like anymore - if ever.
They need to do a course in siege warfare or something……..

This is the managerial German “democracy” that Frank Hall warned about all those years ago.
A classic attack on classical economics.

Billy is a very nice man but I would imagine in a debate he would eat his liver with some fava beans and a nice chiante.
