   M****r-Fu***ng Brian Goggin was supposed by all accounts to be retired and sitting at home. Now we find that he has teamed up with an American property investment company to squeeze value out of “distressed” assets here.

   All of a sudden, Richard Boucher et al’s hard stance at the PAC and towards negative equity and debt forgiveness becomes all the clearer. The insiders in and of BoI are working with outside firms to make a killing. I envisage the scam playing out as follows:

   1) BoI will sell properties to select firms as sub-fire-sale prices.
   2) Those firms stand to make a profit by default
   3) BoI will manage the properties and squeeze the life out of the borrowers, but only to maximize profit for the owing firm. BoI itself will make a loss regardless
   4) The state will cover BoIs loss, and in effect will indirectly provide the (inflated) private profits of the outside firms.
   5) BoI staff will find nice retirements/second jobs in such firms.

   This is what happens when criminals are not caught, prosecuted, and jailed. They go on to commit more crimes.
