Couple of questions,

Conor, why aren't that many people marching, lobbying, active? Unless I'm wrong and there are, Is that not the real problem? In the long term noone could get away with this stuff if the punters didn't want it but it does require effort. Most of us have been educated now, how long can it just be about class (which it is) and not about laziness and indifference?

Also, if these bank employees have contracts that stipulate pension rights, what course of action would you take if you were Mr. Noonan (that one has got to be for Fran Crowe, in fairness to conor)

Well said, it's never in the hand they are showing you.
Oldest trick in the book.
I'm not a supporter of Sean Quinn either, but there are bigger geese
to be cooked in this country, just don't hold your breath.
Meanwhile, Noonan is "powerless to tackle bankers pensions".
If it wasnt so sad, it would actually be funny.
This place is well and truly **cked.
