I firmly believe that David Norris is the most qualified for the job. He is an orator. Michel D Higgins is too old for the position………..as we look forward 7 years ahead. No insult please to him, but it is an important fact of life………….I too am ageing. Norris is full of courage, verve, vitality and is influential. Anywhere this man speaks, people will stop to listen, because he is just so intelligent. I had the pleasure of meeting him in Grafton St. a couple of weeks ago. Should he not make it to the Aras, he is well capable of going farther ahead in Europe.
