A History of A History of Electronic Music
Jul 26th, 2011 by Donagh

I was surprised to find, while listening to the latest episode, that I’ve been linking to A History of Electronic Music since November of 2007. They are not published regularly or according to any schedule, so I usually only happen on them a while after they’ve been published - the most recent (the 14th in the series) was put up back in May.
Looking back through the archive here on Dublin Opinion I haven’t been consistent over the years so if you’re interested in looking for past ones you’re best off using the links to the mp3s on the Triptree website, which also provides a short description of what each one covers.
May’s installment is called Seventies Roundup and is in two parts, 14a and 14b, which I’m embedding below. It fills “in the gaps from the Seventies and before, including Klaus Schulze, Manuel Göttsching, Pink Floyd, Goblin, John Carpenter and Jean-Jacques Perrey”.
Enjoy.
