Please find attached the timetable for the walkers from Ballyhea in Co. Cork. They are walking/running from Ballyhea to Dublin in protest at the bank bailout. It would be important that people come out and support these brave people.
They protest every Sunday after mass against the bank bail out and this is another step in their attempt to stir people to action.
Please circulate it to all your friends and if you live on or near the route, then please join them for a brief period.
They stress that this is a non - party political event and we would request that people respect this.

I hope to get to Kildare st to greet you all. I spoke in favour of this communities organizing against the bail out at the TUI teachers conference in April, the idea was well received by delegates. We need to challenge the complicity of the unions on the bail out - their refusal to mobilize their members against it can only be seen as supporting it.
There needs to be a broad movement against the bail out and political parties should be encouraged to support the protest, it runs against the spirit of building a mass opposition to say it must be politics free.
