Just sat this tweet from John McGuirk, who is standing in the Cavan-Monaghan constituency as an independent, but is aligned with New Vision.
He is anti-abortion and anti-climate change laws; against a 2 per cent rise in VAT as it will devastate border businesses; pro-scrapping the HSE; pro-scrapping the Croke Park Agreement; pro-family: pro-tax breaks for married couples; and is against the “urban liberal supporters in the Irish Times and Greenpeace.”
Anyway, when I saw the tweet, all I could think of was this:

Mary, the group he is aligned to is called New Vision. It doesn’t say Fía Nua on the website, it just says New Vision, and they claim to have twenty candidates.
