Why don’t they have the election now?
That way they can see if the Finance Bill is the will of the People.
Thing is, Fine Gael and Labour want the Finance Bill to be passed before the election because they do not want to have to campaign on a mandate to pass the Finance Bill - a mandate that does not exist.
The passing of the Finance Bill before the Irish People get to have a say on it is just another part of the long line of measures put in place to ensure that the Irish People cannot scupper their new-found role as tax vassals for European banks.
