The Anglo Cowen Cocaine Garrison
Sep 30th, 2010 by ec
[to be sung to the tune of the Hudson Dusters as played by the Sick and Indigent Song Club.]
When the Anglo Cowen cocaine garrison
Wreak their devastation
The soldiers of Destiny whiskey garrison
Cry the Irish nation
We all go grab our chains and rattle them
Pray for your salvation
We all go grab our chains and rattle them
Cry the Irish nation
Haughey’s gangs are out on Leinster
Pray for your salvation
Lawlor’s gangs are out on Leinster
Cry the Irish nation
We all go grab our chains and rattle them
Pray for your salvation
We all go grab our chains and rattle them
Cry the Irish nation
Seanie’s gangs are out on Merrion
Pray for your salvation
Finger’s gangs are out on Merrion
Cry the Irish nation
Lets all grab our chains and rattle them
Have to fight for your salvation
Let’s all break our chains before they strangle us
Cry the Irish nation
Cry the Irish Nation
When the Anglo Cowen cocaine garrison
Wreak their devastation
The Soldiers of Destiny whiskey garrison
Cry the Irish nation
Lets all grab our chains and rattle them
Have to fight for your salvation
Let’s all break our chains before they strangle us
Cry the Irish nation
Cry the Irish Nation

First thing I hear this morning on the radio. ‘Presenter asking a Goldman Sachs empoloyee ‘how much flesh do we have to put on that bone’? He’s talking about budget cuts.
Yep mighty fine times… when are ye doing a recording of your lyrics EC ??
As an aside - what’s the reason behind the Sick and Indigent’s no longer doing their residence in the Ha’penny Inn ??
Effin hell - ’sick’, ‘indigent’, ‘ha’penny’ almost seems like a collection of keywords for the present time :-
Hi Sean
I can’t sing more’s the pity. Ha’penny thing? Mean publicans I think.
I have asked a punk rocker to do a recording. I own a small piece of his soul. We’ll see what happens.
