Cheers left. I only came across 'On Our Knees' about two years ago. Such a breath of fresh air. Quite impressed with it.

Excellent, as usual.

As an aside, Rosita Sweetman's book "On Our Knees", yes, read that in about 1984 and found a copy a couple of years ago in Charlie Byrne's bookshop in Galway I think it was. It has to be a must read for anyone who hasn't yet done so. It also contains interviews with Cathal Goulding and Sean MacStiofain which nicely illustrate the incompatabilities that led to the Official/Provo split.

Her other book from that time, "On Our Backs" I think it was called, is also excellent, covers feminist issues in the Ireland of that era.

Incidentally there's an article by Rosita Sweetnam in the latest Village magazine about Patti Smith and her relationship with Robert Mapplethorpe.
