I think throwing yourself in front of a DART might be the proper procedure, Donal :-<
Mebbe they should build a new 'Shite' line running from Limp Bizkit to the Scorpions taking in Genesis on the way.

Seeing Jets To Brazil, Minor Threat, Jawbreaker, Fleetwood Mac and Weezer on the same ANYTHING as Limp Bizkit makes me want to jump off something high.

Maybe Big Tom's sitting room is big enough though, Conor (or does he call it a 'parlour' ?)

Hugh - have noted French males of a certain age's liking for The Scorpions (shudder) but didn't they bring down the Berlin Wall singlehandedly armed only with their mullets ?

Point taken about the lack of black folk - but I think the 'Rock n'Roll' moniker wasn't going to lead to dozens of them. I note poor Bob Marley is only one station away from Genesis, poor fella. Didn't look closely enough to see if at least Prince and Hendrix had found their way on there.

Let's not even get around to the lack of The Fall though :-(

Try to pay attention, Conor - 'Margo' only had a station. It was on the Country n'Irish line... before the flesh-eating zombies (that looked uncannily like members of Cryshtal Schwing) came along and ruined it all..
It was most likely a scary and a sinister place alright.

Great to see Thin Lizzy there, deservedly so, but I think he has them in the wrong place

The heavy metal line is a bit weird. The inclusion of The Scorpions (bleurgh) between Sabbath and Zeppelin reflects a favourable bias towards that group in mainland Europe. I could never fathom that. When I went on a French exchange back in 1990 all the kids were mad for the Scorpions. That jaundiced my view of French popular culture for a long time hence.

But there is also a widespread perception of Lizzy as a solid metal band, perhaps on account of the more wig-out parts of the marvellous Jailbreak album.

It looks like the Metro hasn't been brought out to the black folk living in the exurbs yet.

The 'Margo' line. Wasn't that so scary that even the Germans went around it rather then through it in the Second World War?

Great to see Thin Lizzy there, deservedly so, but I think he has them in the wrong place. They're down as a single stop on the Heavy Metal line, but I would have thought they were much more crossover than that. Possibly where Aerosmith are, at the junction of The Pop line and Heavy Metal.

He has Belle and Sebastian next to Coldplay, which is proof that you can't pick your neighbours.
