Arthur Scargill, Matt Merrigan Hall, Middle Abbey Street, Dublin, 27 October 2009
Oct 28th, 2009 by Conor McCabe
Below is a short video file and the full audio of Arthur Scargill’s talk on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the miners’ strike. Arthur gave insight on the background to the strike, its course and consequences, as well as some thoughts on the trade union movement and the European Union.
Enjoy.

Scargill’s interview with Vincent Browne is also worth a look.
Illuminating, but also just a little bit odd … including a bizarre reference to Stalin’s son bringing a liable action agin’ his old dad’s critics.
Thanks Prop Joe. It’s on the Politico site, as well as the TV3 one.

I thought that talk was good, but have to see this VB clip. I don’t really want to now, to be honest.
