Lime Tree Adore
Oct 15th, 2009 by Donagh

I don’t know if Sean Baite will be able to see this down there in the back end of France, but Handj*b films, with the compressing skills of Colm Talbot, have a shockingly large number of vids (okay 9) of Nick Cave’s recent visit to Vicar Street to promote his novel The Death of Bunny Munro through the power of song. The sound quality is very good indeed. Colm has also put up the audio from all the tracks he/handj*b recorded during that much chattier Pixies gig on Oct 1st at the Olympia on Mixpod (from listening to the recordings Frank Black spoke a lot during the night, whereas he didn’t say boo the night before. Not that I mind, mind).
The superb Lime Tree Arbour
The handj*b channel on YouTube, which is worth subscribing to, too.
Nick Cave reading The Death of Bunny Munro on Colm’s/handj*b’s MySpace.

Am seeing, hearing and probably even smelling it all Donagh… careful though you’ve turned the poor lad into ‘Colm’ when he’s actually another ‘Conor’ - must be the side effect of all those pigeon fancier gags we used to bandy about
Have been contacted by Conor and can only agree with him that it ain’t his fault I have a shite internet service or virus-riddled PC - or both..
Another great clip though from, erm, manual stimulation filumz..
Thanks Seán for the corrections (as per usual). And apologies to the other Conor.
