		<description>I'm taking the liberty of basing a thread on Political World (www.politicalworld.org) on this very interesting article.
With the establishment of the United Left Alliance this week it seems like a good time to look back over the history of Trotskyism in Ireland.
As my own knowledge is very, very limited, any input from those wiser and better informed and with first hand experience, would be much appreciated.</description>
