Imagine how a NYPD cop might have handled the situation in Queens! Ireland's silver medalist boxer at the Beijing Olympics is Kenny Egan, and he belongs to a boxing club in Clondalkin. I trust that the residents of that unsung suburb will come out to welcome their Olympic hero in a hearty manner.
