What’s this, a ‘debate’ (nee “Blith and Arrogant Dismissiveness of Differing Points of View” or BaADD-PV) on Dublin Opinion about education and immigration!! I could barely believe by screen scorched eyes when I let their frazzled irises expand on the blog this morning.

And I was so busy writing about what a tosser Denis O’Brien is, for Irish Left Review that I completely missed it.

Anyway, this post was supposed to be about what a tosser Desmond Fennel is, because he’s moved up the ranks from crank Irish Times letter writer and certifiable wing-nut to public intellectual and op-ed writer for the Irish Times, just like that other looper John Waters.

But I don’t have the time to write about him, so I’ll only say that his worries about the low birth rate of White Women in the Western World Today is the same rubbish he tried to argue on this site last year. What’s surprising is that the editors at the Irish Times believe him not to be a fruit bat, which he demonstrably is, but rather a serious commentator.

Actually, maybe he’s not a tosser, wing-nut or fruitbat, but is in fact a gonk. He seems to be a true blood even if his hair was never a natural red.

Speaking of racists, Manuel claims that the Spanish Basketball Team’s slitty eyes affair wasn’t a racial slur. Rather it was only to show that they really were mongs!
