Laugh, you Bastards

That stinking Spanish fascist Manuel Estimulo of Manuel Stimulation is talking about the fact that the new Spanish cabinet is made up mostly of women. He doesn’t like this, as you can imagine.
But you can read it yourselves on the Irish Left Review. You should also read his other pieces of obnoxious crap when you have the chance.
The topic is treated much more intelligently by Hugh Green here.
Manuel’s latest is just one contribution (and his second) to what has been a massive week on Irish Left Review.
An excellent book review, two interviews, one with Chekov Feeney of Indymedia and Village Magazine and the other with Paper Round Boys (Simon McGarr, Fergal Crehan of Tuppenceworth, and Copernicus of Midnight Court), two articles by Michael Taft and what must be one of the most serious and significant articles on criminal justice in Ireland that I’ve read, by Alex Klemm, which I hope, will be used to frame a new debate about the topic among those in Labour, the Greens and Sinn Fein, all of whom have written significant policy documents on the subject. Of course, someone has to tell those in the various parties that its there. Oh, yea, that’s my job.
Anyways, as I said, read it.
I put it to you that that is a Protestant representation of Jesus rather than a Catholic one. (Smiling, not suffering, that sort of thing.)
True, very evangelical it is, almost Californian in its representation. But then California was once part of the mighty Spanish Empire….
